Speaker's profile: Dr. Luan Tu ais a life-long researcher at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. He has comprehensive knowledge and skills and strong comprehensive innovation capabilities. He has a profound academic research background in biology, computer, chemistry, physics and many other fields. Since 2005, I have been cooperating with Professor Theo Meuwissen of the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, known as the “Father of Genome Selection” in the world, to carry out whole-genome breeding research. I am one of the first Chinese scientists to engage in whole-genome selection research. He has participated in two European Union scientific research programs and the Norwegian whole-genome breeding industry technology research and development project. He has extensive and in-depth research experience and comprehensive practical experience in the theoretical methods and applied technologies of whole-genome breeding. In addition, I am committed to the genetic traceability and genetic testing technology research and development of agricultural, animal husbandry and aquatic products, and have applied for 6 national invention patents.
